I like it, with all that thick glass, they’d probably do a good job holding onto the cold if you refrigerated them first.

They probably have a vacuum in them like a thermos to keep the champagne chilled. I have a set of whiskey tumblers like that...

While i really like the design, drinking champagne in a flute is a terrible mistake : I t is a wine and the “nose” should definitely be part of the experience.
To be fair, its less of an issue on “festive” ice-cold drank champagne that is very sour and bitter bu t still would be enjoyed better on a glass that is not colliding with your nose !

I think the base is solid making a bit a an air cushion in the middle, so no harder to clean than regu lar champagne glasses
